Sunset Sons will bring their surf rock to Boardmasters with a headline set on Thursday evening as the sun sets on Cornwall's Fistral Beach as part of the annual Beach Sessions.

Hugh Cornwell, Simon Friend's Seismic Survey, Seas of Mirth, Panic Room, and Erica lead the latest acts added to the line-up at Off The Tracks Summer Festival. The popular family-friendly festival takes place in and around the courtyard of Donington Park Farmhouse, in Derbyshire and offers folk, roots, dance and fusion acts accompanied by real ales and ciders, acoustic sessions, stalls, and atmospheric surroundings from Friday 6th until Sunday 7th September. Treacherous Orchestra, Neville Staple, and Ozric Tentacles were the first acts to be announced.

Headliners James, alongside Primal Scream, Wolf Alice, Max Jury, and The Haggis Horns are the first acts to be announced for OnRoundhay Festival, a new family, music and food festival taking place in the surroundings of Leeds' Roundhay Park on Saturday 17th September 2016. Launched by promoter Harvey Goldsmith and in partnership with John Lewis, this is a sister festival to London's OnBlackheath.

BBC Introducing will be hosting a stage at Latitude Festival 2016 for the first time. The festival, happening from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July 2016 at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, will host on the BBC Introducing Stage classical, world, jazz, country and folk music that has been submitted via 36 local BBC Introducing shows. A panel of network presenters and producers went on to select their favourite acts to perform on the new stage. Friday's bill will include losif Purits, Firewood Island, Phoebe Troup, Shanade, George Boomsma, Yama Warashi, and Xylaroo. Saturday's line-up features Vincent Burke, Sasha Ilyukevich and the Highly Skilled Migrants, Gracie Falls, The Late Great, Belle Chen, Silences, and Giles Robson. On Sunday the stage will host Vula Viel, Anna Mudeka, Joy Atlas, Ditte Elly, Shannon Reilly Trio, Hanging Valleys, and C.C. Smugglers.
