Dare To Dream Out Tomorrow

Broken Flags are back with another single after releasing Sweet Decadence back in April.
Since Sweet Decadence, the four lads have been on stage a fair bit, from Osfest to playing a Sugarmill headline and supporting Britpop heroes Shed Seven at Keele SU.
Broken Flags latest track Dare To Dream has that Stokie charm that only frontman Jack Dooley can carry, with the utmost of pride. It’s a trademark asset that’s been with him since the All The Young days and will surely become a huge factor of the bands' future successes. Dare To Dream features some powerful kickdrums and deep bass lines in the verses, which hold that same sense of pride. Sometimes, less is more, and it works really well here as the band strike up a plethora of emotions with the anthemic music and meaningful lyrics.
‘We’ve got a way to go, but I believe in you. We’ve got to dare to dream, ‘cause I believe in you.’ the anthemic chorus is chanted and bellowed out in Dooley’s nye trademark Stoke accent. It’s the highlight of the track by far, it’s one of those that you have to tap your foot to and wont be able to get out of your head for a while.
Broken Flags are keeping their next move under their hats for now, but they will be releasing the track officially tomorrow, when they play the Deaf Institute in Manchester before a massive single launch gig at The Exchange in their hometown. Make sure you catch these guys in their pre-evolved, unsigned state while you can; Broken Flags will no doubt be one of those bands making you say 'I saw these before they were massive.'
